A history of leadership & service:

Frank has been providing pastoral counseling services to the community for the last 17 years with his wife Martha, meeting personal, marital, and family concerns through Transformation Ministries, Inc., a faith-based 501 (c) (3) non-profit ministry.

Previous to the current counseling ministry, Frank accumulated 24 years of experience in healthcare administration. He began with four years as administrator for a 134-bed skilled and intermediate care nursing home in Petersburg, IN, during which he established outpatient rehabilitation services at that facility for this small community that had no hospital to offer such care.

Frank subsequently came to Madisonville to join Trover Clinic as Human Resource Director in 1981, and then assuming the role of Administrator for Clinical Services in 1984. He completed a total of 20 years with Trover Health Systems, serving his last two years as Risk Manager for the entire organization.

Prior to his healthcare experience, Frank served four years as a counselor at the Job Corps Center in Morganfield, KY, and two years as a social worker with the then Department of Child Welfare in McLean County, KY.

His community service record includes:

  • Past service as Treasurer, Vice President, President and Secretary over most recent six-year term of service on The Board of Directors of Door of Hope Pregnancy Care Center. Managed facility remodel and operational changes for adding limited obstetrical ultrasound services to the Center in 2012.
  • Elder and Treasurer for Hanson Baptist Church
  • Treasurer since founding in 1993 of Christian Leadership Development, a ministry for equipping and training pastors and church leaders across Latin America.
  • Conducting Anger Management classes at Hopkins County Jail
  • Serving as a life skills teaching resource for the Western Kentucky Teen Challenge Center

Past service includes:

  • United Way of Hopkins County Board, Allocation Committee, Long Term Planning Committee
  • Founding Board of Directors for Door of Hope Pregnancy Care Center (1995-2001)
  • Pike County (IN) Association for Retarded Citizens Board of Directors (Sheltered Workshop)
  • Owensboro Area Economic Opportunity Council (1971-1973)
